About Sponsorships
Movies have been a mainstay of the historic Michigan Theatre in downtown Jackson since reopening to the public in 1994. Classic films, kids' movie series, JCC film series, and special screenings are presented on the Michigan's giant screen. Many have been sponsored by corporations and other organizations. In order to cover costs and ensure films continue to grace the big screen, we are seeking sponsors for all films shown at the theatre.
Benefits of Sponsorship
- Recognition on the marquee and media advertising
- On-screen recognition prior to film presentation, including your logo, video, advertisement, announcement, etc.
- Availability of poster cases for your use and space for lobby displays
- 25 tickets for your guests to your sponsored movie
- Movie selection compatible with your needs

Cost of Sponsorships
Sponsorship, including the benefits mentioned above, is $500 which covers the cost to the theatre of film rental and shipping.
Other Michigan Theatre Opportunities
The Michigan Theatre is also available to rent for your private or public functions. The Michigan has a fully equipped stage with film and video projection capability, and has a liquor license. The Michigan Theatre is available for:

Donations
Let's face it... Although event revenue helps keep us operating, repairs and additional projects require a lot more money. And we have a lot of repairs and projects! Whether it is a large foundation grant or a small individual contribution, any amount is gratefully appreciated.
The Michigan Theatre of Jackson Inc. is registered as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation. That means your contribution is fully tax-deductible if you itemize on your Federal return (see your tax advisor for details).
