Parking Information
Downtown Jackson offers convenient parking options for visitors to the Michigan Theatre.
• Two hours of free on-street parking is available throughout most downtown spaces.
• The 2-hour limit applies district-wide, so moving your vehicle to a different spot does not restart the timer.
If you plan to stay longer than two hours, additional options are available:
• $7 daily parking permits are available for city lots and garages through the City of Jackson Pay & Park system.
• Free all-day parking is available at:
– Lot 3 near the YMCA
– Lot 9A at Cortland St. & Martin Luther King Jr. Dr.
Parking enforcement:
Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
No enforcement on weekends or city holidays.
Please allow a few extra minutes to park and make your way to the theatre before your event begins.
